Postgraduate studies

CST Department conducts training on educational programmes of higher education - training programmes of the teaching staff in graduate school the following areas:

  1. 06.13.01 - Electric and thermal engineering;
    specialty 05.09.03 - Electrical equipment and systems;
  2. 27.06.01 - Management of Engineering Systems;
    specialty 05.13.06 - Automation and management of technological processes and manufactures;
  3. 27.06.01 - Management of Engineering Systems;
    specialty 05.11.16 - Information-measuring and control systems.

The most important priorities of the department are research work and interaction with industry. The department has branches on one of the largest industrial enterprises of St. Petersburg JSC "Holding Company "Leninist" and collaborates with divisions of the Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS) - Institute of Problems of Mechanical Engineering, St. Petersburg Institute for Informatics and Automation. The department created an innovative laboratory in conjunction with Siemens, Schneider Electric, National Instruments, SEW Eurodrive, SAP Academic Competence Center and Northwest regional Training interuniversity Research Centre "SPbPU-FESTO "Synergy".
